For a product to bear the Superfit "Waterproof" seal, it must meet quality standards that are among the most stringent of the footwear industry.
All construction materials are waterproof.
A waterproof layer is sewn inside the boot to keep feet dry. The layer is manufactured in the shape of shoe, and tape is applied to its seams with waterproof glue for sealing that prevents any infiltration of water.
Each waterproof layer is tested before being used in the manufacturing of boots. Throughout the production chain, pairs of boots are sampled at random to be tested in the laboratory for their waterproof sealing.
The quality standard of Superfit are in the among the highest in the footwear industry.

Certain Superfit boot models have removable liners.
The liner is made from advanced technology materials and is very strong. It repels damp to keep feet warm and dry. After each use, the lines can be removed to be aired out, thus avoiding the accumulation of fungus causing bad odour. They can be washed if necessary.
Genuine Rubber is obtained by processing the latex naturally secreted by certain plants like the para rubber plant and guayule. In addition to being a good environmental choice, a genuine Rubber outsole ensures better boot traction (traction control grip) on ice and better insulation on a brisk winter's day.
Unlike synthetic rubber, natural rubber retains its flexibility(Flex Zone) and suppleness even at low temperatures.
Thermostatic TM soles are capable of maintaining a constant temperature inside the boot. They are made of genuine rubber which provides a tenacious grip(traction control grip) on icy sidewalks.
If a boot bears the Thinsulate label, its insulating properties are guaranteed to be exceptional. Thinsulate is a unique microfibre developed by 3M to allow humidity to escape but body heat to stay.
Applied directly at the factory while the shoe is being made, Scotchgard ™ offers integrated water protection. Leather is a fine material but nubuck and suede are unfortunately very susceptible to spotting. Scotchgard™ helps prevent dirt and water from penetrating the leather. Scotchgard™ increases the strength and durability of leather articles. It makes them easier to care for while maintaining the flexibility and beauty of the leather.
A leather upper allows good evaporation, so avoiding accumulations of fungus. A shoe that is stronger and more durable while remaining light and flexible. The result is shoes that are more comfortable because the upper helps support the foot.
A real leather sole, a Genuine Leather Sock Lining, has several properties: good evaporation, avoiding the accumulation of fungus, solidity and adjustable to the sole of the foot for maximum comfort.
Required by Academic Institutions, non-marking soles guarantee that no marks are left on floors.
Easily adjustable to provide greater openings which facilitate entry of the child's feet when putting on the boots.
The entry of the footwear has been enlarged substantially in the design of the Maniqui model, without compromising ajustment.
Through Velcro or laces, the boots fit well around the foot providing necessary support.
